Banana & Cinnamon Porridge

INGREDIENTS

1 cup (90g) UNCLE TOBY’S Traditional Oats

1 cup (250mL) milk

1 cup (250mL) water

½ tsp cinnamon

1/3 cup (75g) brown sugar

2 tbsp water

¼ tsp cinnamon

2 medium bananas (400g), sliced thinly

 

METHOD

1. Combine UNCLE TOBY’S Traditional Oats, milk, water and cinnamon in medium saucepan, bring to boil, simmer 5- 6 minutes.

2. Meanwhile, make Caramelised Bananas

3. Caramelised Bananas: Combine sugar and water in small saucepan, stir over low heat until sugar dissolves. Increase heat to medium, cook for 3-4 minutes until mixture has caramelised. Add cinnamon and bananas, stir over low heat until bananas have softened slightly.

4. Serve porridge topped with caramelised bananas.
